See that girl? With her shy eyes and happy heart? That’s Courtney aka letsbangyongguk. On the night of January 7th she committed suicide. According to her last note, “Those anons really got to me. Mom, ask Mina about this, because I know you won’t understand. I know it’s stupid to be messed up over something like that, but it hurts. And it just sticks with you and torments you. And you start thinking, ‘If people I don’t even know feel this way, everyone else must too.’“
Courtney had been struggling with depression, self-harm, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder since 2009. She was having one of her bad days when she came back and saw what those anons said. It pushed her over the edge. Because of the careless words of cowards, the world has lost a beautiful daughter, sister, and friend. I’m making this post to show everyone how much anon hate hurts. Courtney had never gotten much hate, but those three little message pushed her to do something regrettable. It is never, ever okay to send hate, whether it be on anonymous or not.
Courtney. You said if you ever died, you’d watch over B.A.P and Block B for the fans. I have a feeling that’s exactly what you’re doing right now. If I ever meet them I’ll tell them that they have a guardian angel on their side. Rest easy in paradise, babygirl. You’ll be missed. -Mina

A rare vintage photograph of an onna-bugeisha, one of the female warriors of the upper social classes in feudal Japan.
Often mistakenly referred to as “female samurai”, female warriors have a long history in Japan, beginning long before samurai emerged as a warrior class.
Woah. Interesting.
